HISTORY:
Launched by Stelios Haji-Ioannou with two leased aircraft operating two routes – Glasgow and Edinburgh. In March 1998, it purchased a 40% stake in TEA Switzerland. Floated on the London stock exchange in October 2000. Its operation was boosted with the acquisition of its rival, London Stansted-based Go in 2002, whose operations have now been integrated.
